And the winner is...

The only watchable part of last night's Oscars was Seth MacFarlane's opening act and even that dragged on. The whole experience seemed long with the whole nun business. MacFarlane could've left it to just the "We Saw Your Boobs" and "Sock Puppet Flight", who really wanted to watch Harry Potter and Robin dance? The sheer amount of awards that non-movie creating people don't care about put me to sleep. Sitting through technical awards like best costume design or foreign film were awful to sit through befor the real awards like best film.

Here's a link to the one good part of the Oscars:

Engag's Favorite Movie

Cool Runnings:
What is not to like in my marketing teacher's favorite movie? A touching tale of how people overcome racial barriers to bring a disgraced trainer back to glory, Cool Runnings is a timeless classic for the entire family.
"The only movie I ever cried in"-Z. Engag
The movie leads the viewer through the countless challenges in a comeback trail for a once cheating trainer. It takes you from the lowest of moments to the ultimate triumph of the Olympics, creating a truly emotional film. My football coaching, tough guy marketing teacher cried in no other movie, but this one.
Taking a group of Jamaican push cart racers and making them Olympic athletes is a sure fire recipe for a feel good movie.

Top Ten Movies of All Time

The first thing you have to do when discussing movies is of course list your favorites. Making a distinction between a comedy an action and unfortunately chick flick is pretty tough, so the bottom 5 are in no order, but the top 5 are very carefully chosen in each slot.

How I Ranked them:
  1. Chick flicks are automatically out. No discussion. They're awful.
  2. Classic childhood movies win ties
  3. The older film wins a tie
  4. Childhood classic beats the older film in a tie, unless it the movie is both old and a childhood classic
The Winners
    10. Shrek
      9. Dirty Harry
      8. Saving Pvt Ryan
      7. The Lion King
      6. Forrest Gump
      5. Inception
      4. Finding Nemo
      3. The Dark Knight
      2. Scarface
      1. Toy Story (All of them)
